Billy Lee McAllister, 68, Jamesport, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at an Overland Park, Kan. hospital.
Funeral services for Billy L. McAllister were held Tuesday at Jamesport Methodist Church. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Jamesport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jamesport United Methodist Church or Jamesport First Responders.
Billy Lee McAllister, 68, Jamesport, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at an Overland Park, Kan. hospital.
Mr. McAllister was born August 27, 1934 in rural Grundy County and graduated from Jamesport High School in 1952.
On March 3, 1972 he married Natha Kimberling Wahlers in Jamesport. She survives of the home.
He worked at Armco Steel before returning to Jamesport to farm and to attend auctioneering school. He operated an auctioneering business, pursued a career in Real Estate Sales and was co- owner of the Tri County Weekly and K-K Printing.
Mr. McAllister served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member to the Jamesport United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and the Missouri Auctioneers Association.
Mr. Allister was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kimi in 1957.
Other survivors include two sons, Tim Wahlers and Eric McAllister, both of Jamesport; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
