A recognition ceremony and reception for 64 people passing the General Education Diploma (GED) while attending adult education and literacy classes at North Central Missouri College has been announced. The ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. June 13 in the Ketcham Community Center at Trenton.

This year’s event will include a powerpoint presentation prior to the ceremony, recognition of students who obtained scholarship level on their GED scores, and the announcement of a fund raising venture to help students who can’t afford to pay to take the GED test.

Anyone who passed the GED test while attending NCMC but has not received an invitation to the ceremony should call 660-359-6687. The public is invited to attend the ceremony to be held June 13.
