Kimberly, who resides near Jameson, has performed leading roles in major theaters from New York to San Francisco and appeared in concert internationally. The Newark Star Ledger calls her “a blend of Julie Andrews and Barbara Streisand” and she calls her style “classic contemporary.”

Ms. Lord opened the 2000-01 season for the St. Joseph Symphony and performed a Christmas concert with them in 2001. Most recently she appeared with the Joe Cartwright Trio for the opening concert of the St. Joseph Museum’s “Music Under the Dome” series.

The upcoming concert coincides with the release of Kimberly’s newest CD “Happy.”

Luis Gutierrez of New York, music director and pianist on the album, will be joining Kimberly on stage.

Admission to the May 18 concert is free. There will be an opportunity to contribute to the fund which will enable 110 children to attend Camp Quality NWMo this year, June 8-13. Passes for reserved seating are offered for a small fee by calling 816-364-4171.
