Head Start takes first bus ride to K.C.

Head Start children and their families had an exciting afternoon Saturday, March 29, traveling in their first bus ride to Kansas City. After a successful fund raiser, the parents were able to send everyone to see “Disney on Ice and Toy Story 2.”

Fifty-eight members were able to see all their favorite toys in action in an exciting two-hour program. A sack lunch and an evening snack was provided with the help of donations from John’s Gas and Goods, Premium Standard Farms in Gallatin, Walmart at Cameron, Chuck Anderson Ford with help from Paul Esposito in Excelsior Springs and our local Rotary Club members.
