Jack Boley, Laclede, and Scott Widner, Gallatin, employees of Farmers’ Electric Cooperative attended the Advanced Lineman School at the AMEC Training Center in Jefferson City in April.
The objective of the course was to improve the lineman’s professional skills and increase awareness of safety procedures. The lineman received instruction on vehicle grounding and protective grounds, basic electricity and transformer connections. Participants also had an afternoon of fire training and demonstration.
