Funeral services for Thelma Thompson, formerly of Pattonsburg, were held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg. Burial was in the McFall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church Building Fund and/or Oddessy Hospice.
Thelma (Logsdon) Thompson, 90, Gladstone, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Woodbine Healthcare Center in Gladstone.
Mrs. Thompson was born on Oct. 23, 1912 in Redlands, Calif. She was a longtime resident of Pattonsburg.
On May 2, 1936, she married Donald R. Thompson in Pattonsburg. He died on April 4, 1987.
She continued to live in Pattonsburg until 1994, when she moved to Gladstone.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church in Pattonsburg.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Rosco Thompson, Jr. and Gary Winston Thompson; and three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include a sister, Doris Fields, and a brother, John Duane Logsdon, both of Kansas City
