The Missouri Department of Conservation will sponsor a hunter education class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 8, 9, and 10, from 6-9:30 p.m., each night, at the Gallatin School Vo-Tech Building. Students must attend all three sessions to be certified. Hunter education certification is limited to persons 11 years of age and older.
Seating is limited; therefore, each student must pre-register by calling Alan Bradford at 660-663- 3502. Students under 16 must bring proof of age to class. The class is free of charge.
Missouri law requires all persons born on or after Jan. 1, 1967, to have an approved hunter safety certification card which they must display to permit vendors before they can purchase any type of firearm hunting permit.
