On Saturday, Feb. 22, Gallatin High School students attended Conference Band in Bethany. Those who auditioned for parts did very well. Mariah Gibson placed 3rd in the trumpet section; Katie Heldenbrand placed 2nd in the oboe section; Laura McCann placed 1st in the trombone section; and Jennifer Youtsey placed 4th in the clarinet section.
Others who attended were Kayce Corwin, Emily Gay, Katie Jarboe, Kara Kloepping, Keira Story and Haleigh Tague.
