Deshler promoted to Lieutenant

Captain Johnnie B. Hoggatt, Commanding Officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announced five promotions and three transfers.

Among these, Sergeant Brian T. Deshler has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and will transfer from Troop H to Troop A, Lee’s Summit, MO. Lieutenant Deshler is a 19 veteran of the Patrol. His first assignment after graduating from recruit training was in Zone 7, Cameron. In 1992, Lieutenant Deshler was promoted to the rank of Corporal and remained in Zone 7. In 1999 he was promoted to Sergeant and designated Zone Commander of Zone 2 in Maryville. Later that same year, he transferred to St. Joseph and was designated Zone Commander of Zone 6. Lieutenant Deshler is married to the former Nancy Wright of Winston. The Deshler’s have three children.
