Funeral services for Carl Hayes were held Monday, March 3, 2003 at Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Burial was in Grand River Cemetery, Jameson, Mo., with military rites.

Carl Hayes, 69, of Albany passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at an Albany nursing home. He was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Harrison County, Mo.

In 1975, he was united in marriage to Frances Ann Pugh.

Carl was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver, having worked for Bunches Stave Mill in Albany for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clair Hayes.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; stepsons, Jerry Fish, William Fish, Charles Fish, Carl Fish, David Fish and Chuck Fish; stepdaughters, Connie Brogan, Careon Thompson and Dorothy Parker; sister, Helen Stevens; brother, Clyde Hayes; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
