Chief Wycoff presented Dispatcher Kathy Turner a citation for excellence in handling a dispatch call on Feb. 18, 2003 involving domestic violence.
The regular board meeting of Daviess County Central Dispatch (911) was held on February 27, 2003 at 7 p.m. Present were Sullenger, Tolen, Souders, Skinner and Gann. Absent was Belshe. Also present were Supervisor Carder, Gallatin Police Chief Wycoff, Gallatin Police Officers Richards and Bailey.
Sullenger presented bills and reported revenue of $18,580.54. Gann motioned to accept bills, seconded by Souders. Motion passed.

Supervisor Carder reported that Karen Lawson will attend the Telecommunicator School in April She was unable to attend the school in February due to the weather. She also reported there are six dispatcher scheduled to attend school in March. After discussion of the Business Associate Agreement received from the Daviess County Ambulance District, Carder is to contact Frank Foster to further clarify some of the items listed in the Agreement. Gann motioned and Skinner seconded hiring Paul Pierce as a part-time dispatcher, motion passed.
After reviewing the bids received on voice recorders, Tolen motioned and Skinner seconded to purchase the voice recorder from Voice Products, Option 1 with additional playback software. Motion passed.
Board members comments consisted of Gann wanting a reminder to all dispatchers to page out an ambulance for standby on all structure fires. Tolen questioned the liability limits on the insurance policy. Sullenger advised the policy read $2 million per occurrence for General Liability, $1 million for officers and Board Members Liability w/$1000 deductible, and contents of $80,000.
Souders motion and Gann seconded to adjourn meeting at 8:50 p.m. Motion passed.
