Heartland Health’s Hands of Hope Hospice will offer a free six-week Grief education Support Group. The group will meet each Tuesday form March 4 to April 8 from 7-8 p.m. at the Hands of Hope Hospice office at 105 Far West Drive in St. Joseph.
Participants will learn about the definition of grief, responses, avoidance and myths of grief and steps to healing. Each session will be led by Bill Bridgewater, a bereavement counselor at Hands of Hope Hospice for 11 years. He is also the pastor of Maxwell Heights Presbyterian Church.
