A 19-year-old St. Joseph man was charged Feb. 12 with failure to appear on a Platte County misdemeanor traffic warrant. He posted $90 bond.
Karen McCarty, 40, Liberty, was arrested Feb. 17 on a Madison County, Iowa, felony warrant for forgery. She has signed a waiver of extradition and is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $15,000 bond, awaiting extradition.
On Feb. 11, Jeff Frazier of Weatherby reported that a burglary had occurred at his residence some time between Jan. 20 and Jan. 28, 2003. Items taken include a rifle, pistol, tools, heater, and silver dollars, with a total estimated value of $877.
