Kevin Daniel will be presenting a district-wide staff professional development opportunity on improving teacher and student performance to the Tri-County R-7 staff on Feb. 14.
The workshop, “Improving Teacher and Student Performance — No Fear, No Blame, Just Results” has been one of Kevin’s most requested workshops. Over the past five years, He has worked with over 50 schools, and spoken to nearly 100 groups on educational issues related to student achievement, motivation and success.
Mr. Daniel is currently in his first year in the Raymore-Peculiar School District as the director of staff in the district’s central office. Prior to the move to Ray-Pec, he served as principal of Lathrop High School for seven years, was a teacher and principal in the Pattonsburg School District, and did his student teaching at Gallatin R-5 High School. In addition, he is currently serving on Aspen Publishers Editorial Board as a paid consultant in the education department.
Mr. Daniel is the son of Carolyn Meek and stepson of Ernest Meek of Cameron. He and his wife Maureen and son Micah reside in Lee’s Summit, and are expecting another addition to the family in March.
