Winston R-6 Homecoming 2003 theme was “Winter Wonderland” and was celebrated with a week of activities. Derek Vaughn and Stephanie Caldwell were crowned king and queen by returning royalty Luke Caldwell and Tracy Clark on Thursday, Jan. 30, after the game with the Polo Panthers.
A dance was held Friday evening. Candidates were: freshmen – Kenny Lee and Ashley Griffith; sophomores – Ricky Baldwin and Erica Chapman; juniors – Chrispin Buckner and Nicki Klingensmith; seniors – Roy Warner and Grace Moore; student council – Derek Vaughn and Deanne Watkins; softball – Ryan VanWye and Stephanie Caldwell; basketball – Andrew Egbert and Frankie Baldwin. Prince and Princess were Trevor Brownlee and Alexa Ball.
