Grand River Technical School, Chillicothe, has announced its annual post-secondary student scholarships
Grand River Technical School, Chillicothe, has announced its annual post-secondary student scholarships for the 2002-2003 school year. Funds for the scholarships are provided by the Chillicothe Rotary Club, the Phillip Hall Memorial, the Paul Zachary Memorial, the Lee Fitchett Memorial, local businesses, the Robert and Helen Smith Memorial and the United States Department of Education. A total of $21,576 was provided in scholarships this year.
The criteria for selection include: exemplary attendance, work habits, and attitude, financial need and competencies or grades earned.
Jeanie Cox, Coffey, Child Care Services; Marty Goerne, Winston, Collision Technology; and Jason Tibbles, Gilman City, carpentry, each received the GRTS Director’s Scholarship. Jason Tibbles also received the Phillip Hall Memorial Scholarship.
