The courthouse staff was greatly saddened by the death of Judy Carder, Treasurer/Ex-Officio Collector. The clerk will notify the Governor’s Office later in the week.
Arthur White, CPA, met with the commission regarding the bi-annual audit contracted by the State Auditor’s Office. He was given disks of the 2001, 2002 and 2003 budgets and 2001-to- present minutes of the commission.
David Tolen made a motion to appoint Brenda Davitt to the Daviess County Board for the Developmentally Disabled. David Holcomb seconded. Carried.
Randy Railsback and Lance Rains, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, met with the commission reporting that they are awaiting federal budget awards before proceeding with their budget plans for this fiscal year.
At 3 p.m. as advertised, the final budget hearing was held. No one from the public attended.
