Funeral services for Judy A. Carter were held Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the First Baptist Church in Gallatin. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Booster Club.
Judy Ann Carder, 58, Gallatin, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Carder was born March 2, 1944. She attended school in Memphis, Mo. Judy was elected Daviess County Treasurer in 1977 and served the county for 26 years.
Mrs. Carder worked as a Gallatin City Clerk for many years. She also worked at lake Viking and Tate Marina. She was a member of the Gallatin Rotary Club, Missouri State Treasurer’s Association, and the Daviess County Democrats.
In 1974 she married Gary Carder in Gallatin. On May 22, 1960, she married Ron Corwin.
Mrs. Carder was preceded in death by her father, Ora Bradford, in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Eric and Mark Corwin of Gallatin; her mother, Hazel Bradford of Memphis; two sisters, Norma Riney of Memphis and Mary Campbell of Hannibal; and six grandchildren.
