James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that three dry hydrants will be installed within the boundaries of the Gallatin Fire Protection District.
David Holcomb moved to appoint Roy Pendleton to the Green Hills Regional Planning commission board as the Daviess County citizen representative. Danny Heldenbrand seconded. Carried.
Notice was received from the Missouri Department of Transportation allocating BRO funds for project (23). The engineering firm was notified.
John Lee, land owner in Liberty Township, met with the commission questioning the availability of salvage bridges. He was informed that there is nothing available at this time.
The 2003 budgets were reviewed.
Ron Walker and Jayla Smith, Extension Council, met with the commission with their 2003 budget request. The commission agreed to appropriate $20,000 for this year.
Georgia Maxwell, recorder, met with the commission regarding her budget requests.
David Tolen moved to appoint Julie Kirby to fill a vacancy on the Board for the Developmentally Disabled following the resignation of Carolyn Sharp. David Holcomb seconded. Carried.
