Categories of competition include: Applied Technology, Career Investigation (new for 2002), Chapter Service Project, Chapter Showcase, Entrepreneurship, Focus on Children, Illustrate Talk, Impromptu Speaking, Job Interview, Knowledge Test, Occupational Child Care (new in 2002), and Parliamentarian Procedure.
Each student receives a rating of Gold, Silver or Bronze depending on their total score. The top two Gold Rating winners in each category will advance to state competition during State Leadership Conference March 30-April 1, 2003, in Columbia.
