The HDC Conference will hold its fifteenth annual music day on Saturday, January 25.
The HDC Conference will hold its fifteenth annual music day on Saturday, January 25. This year’s event is being hosted by the North Daviess School. The program will feature many of the musicians in the eleven school conference who are in grades seven through twelve. Approximately 150 students will be involved. The conference choir will have about 80 voices and the conference band will have about 70 instruments.
This year’s guest choir conductor is Mr. Ken Dahlenburg from Lincoln Christian School in Lincoln, Nebraska. The guest band conductor is Dr. Daniel Frizane from Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas.
The public is invited to the free concert that will begin at 5:00 p.m. It will be held at the North Daviess Elementary School in Coffey.
