Funeral services for Louise Knauer, formerly of Jameson, were held Jan. 11 at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, Ottumwa, Iowa. Inurnment was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin.

Mrs. Knauer was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Jameson, the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Jameson High School and William Penn College.
Mrs. Knauer taught first and third grades in the Cardinal Community School District for 19 years, retiring in 1994.
Survivors include her husband, David of the home; two daughters, Kerry Bruning, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Marty Parcel, Trempealeau, Wis.; a twin brother, Lewis Croy, Eldon; one sister, Edna Landes, St. Joseph; and two granddaughters.
