County Commission
James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they are continuing with the tube installations.
Linda Adkins, Circuit Clerk, met with the commission regarding the relocation of her office to third floor. Funding from interest funds may not be available and may have to be provided by the general fund.
Bills were audited and paid. The commission also compared cash balances to last year’s totals.
The commission was informed of the resignation of Jason Helton as the representative from Daviess County to the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission. An appointment to fill that vacancy will be made after the first of the year.
Joe Read, Harrison Township Trustee, met with the commission with questions on a closed road and a utility company needing access to lines. The utility company has been notified of the property owner’s address, so that contact may be made.
Potential property owners met with the commission with questions of access to a property in Colfax Township. They were referred to the township board.
