Funeral services for Eileen Savage will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg. Burial will be in Best Chapel Cemetery, Pattonsburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Eileen Savage, 78, Pattonsburg, formerly of Liberty, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at a Cameron hospital.

Mrs. Savage was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Putnam, Okla., the daughter of Arthur and Dee (Brown) Bailey.

On Nov. 1, 1945, she married Clark R. Savage. He died on May 8, 1997. She was also preceded by one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Savage worked for several years at Montgomery Ward in Kansas City, before retiring.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Miller and Carolyn Nelson, both of Kansas City, and Shirley Pitman, Glendale, Colo.; five sons, Glenn Savage, St. Joseph, Bill Savage, Liberty, Clark Savage, Jr., Independence, and Eddie and James Savage, both of Pattonsburg; five brothers; and five sisters; 20 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
