James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they are continuing to replace culverts.
The commission discussed the use of aluminized riveted or polymer riveted to replace galvanized riveted metal in large culverts. The salesman was contacted and stated that the cost would be the same as the bids made in March.
Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, met with the commission regarding grants and training.
Betty Harmison, assessor, met with the commission regarding the reassessment process.
The commission reviewed the report of third class counties by the state auditor’s office.
David Tolen reported having met with the parties involved and the closing on the house at 206 North Daviess Street was completed on Nov. 27.
Eric Corwin met with the commission reporting on the repairs made on the clock this year.
A landowner from Jamesport Township met with the commission concerning road rights-of-way on July Avenue. He was referred to the assessor’s office.
