Funeral services for Lewis W. Myers were held Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Lake Viking Church. Burial was at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Memorials may be made to the Lake Viking Church.
Lewis W. “Buddy” Myers, 82, Altamont, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at Liberty hospital.
Mr. Myers was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Lewis and Ruby (Corley) Myers.
He was a musician, and a producer/director for public television.
Mr. Myers married Jo Ann Lightfoot Aug. 13, 1939, in Oklahoma City. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include one daughter, Connie Hehr, Kansas City; one brother, Ted Myers of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Tillie Baker, Borger, Texas, Patsy Leach, Siloam Springs, Ark., and Wanda Bright, Hereford, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
