Vocalist Kimberly Lord of Jameson will present a benefit concert at 5 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the Oak Christian Church, 8875 W. Hwy 6, Amity. The free Christmas Concert will go to benefit Camp Quality.
Camp Quality USA currently has 13 camp locations in 10 states, including Camp Quality Northwest Missouri located at Stewartsville. Camp Quality is a summer camping experience and year-round support program for children with cancer.
“The children at Camp Quality have many challenges in their life,” said Mrs. Lord. “We hope the concert will bring them a little joy. We encourage everyone to come to see a good show and support the children in a great cause.”
Mrs. Lord has a new album coming out called “Happy: A Celebration of Rainbows.” She will be traveling to England on Dec. 18 to do another concert scheduled for Jan. 1 to also benefit children with cancer. For details call 816-393-5573
