Funeral services for Lucy M. Wilson were held Monday at the Norman-Wagy-Gordon Funeral Home. Burial was at Plainview Cemetery, Chula. Memorials may be made to the Gallatin Hospice, in care of the funeral home.

Lucy Maude Wilson, 97, rural Chillicothe, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at the Lake Viking Health Care Center.

Mrs. Wilson was born Sept. 30, 1905, in Carroll County, the daughter of E.A. and Nettie (Dorwagen) Plaster in Carroll County.

On Aug. 9, 1923, she married Walter S. Wilson in Kansas City, Kan. He died on Oct. 14, 1976.

Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one son, John Everett Wilson, and two grandsons.

Survivors include three sons, Henry “Pete” of Chillicothe, Harold of Blue Springs, and Buford of Trenton; five daughters, Lorna McKiddy of Chillicothe, Marjorie Berry of Lebanon, Bess Mason of Reno, Nev., Verna Tye of Edinburg, Donna MacLeod of Sparks, Nev.; two sisters, Lula Courts of Kansas City, and Dorothy Plaster of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
