Funeral services for Clair Runyan were held Monday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial with military rites, was at Kidwell Cemetery, Martinsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Hospice and/or the United Methodist Church, Martinsville.
Clair Runyan, 77, Bethany, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at his home.
Born August 11, 1925 in Martinsville, to Robert Bryan and Ottie (Grace) Runyan.
On Dec. 1, 1951, he married Carol R. Foster in Eureka Springs, Ark. She survives of the home.
Mr. Runyan, a farmer, was a member of the United Methodist Church in Martinsville.
Other survivors include one son, Ronnie of Bethany; two daughters, Karen Nail of Bethany and Jeanie Barber of New Hampton; one brother, Jim of Martinsville; two sisters, Faye Stevens of Albany and Grace Rust of Blue Springs; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
