A family reception was held Saturday at the home of Arthur L. Bowman, Trenton. He was the son of Elsie Hughes, Jamesport. Mr. Bowman has donated his body to medical science. Arrangements were by Rupp Funeral Home, St. Joseph
Arthur Lee Bowman, 60, Trenton, formerly of St. Joseph, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Bowman was born in Atchison, Kan., on July 6, 1942.
On Oct. 15, 1960, he married Rosemary Dykes. She survives of the home.
Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his father, Lindsey; and two brothers, Lindsey and Danny.
Other survivors include three sons, Arthur V. and Merlin, both of St. Joseph; and Michael, Maysville; four daughters, Bernice Banta and Margaret Bowman, both of Trenton; Rosalee Smith, Maysville; and Betty Johnson, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mary Foster, Maryville; and Nancy McGinnis, Jamesport; 30 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
