Funeral services for Arleene R. Elmore were held Saturday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin.
Arleene Rae Elmore, 83, Gallatin, formerly of Jameson, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Elmore was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Jameson, to Eben and Georgia (Baidwell) Estes. She graduated from Jameson High School.
Mrs. Elmore married Herman Taul in 1934, at Gallatin. In 1965, she married Harold Elmore in Kansas City. He died in December 1988. She had lived on a farm at Jameson most of her life.
Mrs. Elmore was a member of the Jameson Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Herman and William; one son, Wayne Elmore in 1956; one daughter, Sharon Durham in 1991; and two brothers, J.D. and Glen Estes.
Survivors include two daughters, Nina Gray, Trenton, and Arleene Evans, Claycomo; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
