The Daviess County Health Department will be giving flu shots to Daviess County residents during October. You will need to bring your medicare and medicaid cards. Those under 18 years of age need to bring a doctor’s order for the flu shot. A donation of $10 is asked. Flu shots will be given at the following locations:

Oct. 21 — JD’s Café in Lock Springs from 8-8:30 a.m.; Jamesport City Hall from 9-10 a.m.; Jamesport school in the elementary cafeteria from 3-4 p.m.; North Daviess Elementary at Coffey from 8:30-9:30 a.m.; Pattonsburg Senior Center from 10:30-12 noon; Winston Pit Stop from 1:30-3 p.m.; Bings at Altamont from 3:15-4 p.m.

Oct. 22 — Daviess County Health Department in Gallatin from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Oct. 29 — Daviess County Health Department in Gallatin from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Oct. 30 — Daviess County Health Department in Gallatin from 4-6 p.m.

And every Tuesday at the Daviess County Health Department in Gallatin while supplies last.

Pneumonia shots are also available. A $15 donation is asked for the pneumonia shot. No toenail trims will be done in the office on Oct. 22 or Oct. 29.
