Cynthia A. Doyle will observe her 90th birthday Oct. 21. Cynthia was born in Gallatin to Luke and Cora Hill. Her brother was William (Willie) Hill.
Cynthia graduated from school with a teacher’s degree. She became a nurse and eventually a nurse administrator of a nursing home. She retired at 76.
Cynthia married Harley Pierce. They had two children, Jim Pierce (deceased Oct. 11, 2002) and Constance Pierce Thomas. She has five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one expected great-great-granddaughter.
Cynthia lives in Gallatin at 403 E. Berry and often with her children at 311 W. Van Buren in Gallatin. No celebration is planned.
