Frances Whitmer, R.N., volunteer from Northwest Missouri Area Health Education Center at St. Joseph, visited with kindergarten students and first graders at Winston R-6 School on Oct. 14 by using a puppet to present information about health care.
The program, “The Great Hospital Adventure,” emphasized careers in the health field, healthy behavior and using 911. Wendy Holcomb, R.N., from the Winston school, coordinated this event.
