September Students of the Month
North Daviess R-3 Students of the Month for September are senior Jessica Youngs and eighth grader Cody Morris. Jessica is the FFA president, STUCO vice president and art club vice president. She was on the Honor Roll all four quarters last year.
Cody is involved in junior high basketball, junior high Academic Team, track, and was a candle lighter for the 2002 Homecoming.

Felicia Nelson, vice-president; Holly Jincks, secretary/treasurer; John Bohannon, reporter; and Mark McNeely, sentinel.
STUCO officers elected
This year’s Student Council officers are Darcie Iddings, president; Jessica Youngs, vice- president; Carah Carr, secretary; and Bryan Griffin, treasurer. STUCO representatives are Jessica Youngs, senior; Bryan Griffin, junior; Carah Carr, sophomore; Steven Steinman, freshman; Meghan Roberts, eighth grade; Zach Taul, seventh grade. Penny Roberts is STUCO sponsor.

FBLA holds first meeting
FBLA officers were elected as follows: Darcie Iddings, president; Jhona Skeens, vice president; Nicole Ray, secretary; John Bohannon, historian; Shannon Dutro, chaplain; Steven Steinman, parliamentarian; Mark McNeely, treasurer; and Beth Morris, reporter.
