The Heritage Day festival at Jamesport is set for Saturday, Sept. 28. Highlights of the festival will include Smith’s Cornfield Maze and the Village Dancers, who will perform at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday
Other lost arts and demonstrations which will take place on Saturday include rope making, Appalachian style baskets, dolls and dulcimers, rug braiding, quilting, crochet rag rugs, knitting and spinning, hand crochet afghans, quilling and tatting, reed baskets, lye soap, weaving, cross- stitch, scroll saw crafts, beeswax candles, beekeeping equipment and chair caning.
There will be several food booths, and fall produce will be available for sale. The festival is sponsored by the Jamesport Community Association. For information, call 660-684-6146 or 6474.
