If drizzling rain put a damper on Chautauqua activities Saturday, the announcement of raffle winners offered sunshine to a lucky few. The following is a listing of raffle winners announced by the Daviess County Fine Arts Council:

A $50 certificate at Casey’s General Store to Mary Jane Story and to Mitzi Wiley; free Breadeaux Pisa to Rick Ratliff, Jim Cook of Jameson, Pam Critten, Karen Critten and Devin Pierce; a $50 certificate from Bing’s at Altamont to Sharon Smith; two movie passes to Grand River 6 at Chillicothe to Charles Meissen and to Jack Creamer of Winston; dinner for two at Seasons on the Square to Mary Jane Story; a Gallatin R-5 family activity pass to Jonathon Wright; a $50 certificate at Lynch’s Market to Devin Pierce; a $50 certificate at John’s Amoco to Frances Sprinkle of Jamesport.

A dunking booth was operated on the south side of the courthouse lawn as a fund raising event for Gallatin DARE/Teen Beat. Those volunteering to man the “wet seat” included Officer Mark Richards, Alderman Gene Schweizer, Attorney Mike Arnold, and Deputy Todd Watson and Officer Mike Bailey.

Chautauqua Baby Show winners — There were 77 entries in the Chautauqua Baby Show contest held Saturday. The Baby Show was conducted by the Gallatin FCCLA Chapter. Winners are as follows:

0-6 month boys: 1. Chase Moulton, son of Richard and Christine Moulton, Gallatin; 2. Kable Milligan, son of Tyson and Holly Milligan, Hamilton.

0-6 month girls: 1. Skye Beth Uthe, daughter of Jerald and Kelley Uthe, Winston; 2. Alexis Marie Potts, daughter of Amanda Rogers, Hamilton.

7-12 month boys: 1. Haden Bradford, son of Alan and Melinda Bradford, Gallatin; 2. Sam Uthe, son of Chuck and Vicki Uthe, Winston.

7-12 month girls: 1. Shelby Marie Wilson, daughter of Kelli and Josh Wilson, Lee’s Summit; 2. Cheyenne Comstock, daughter of Sarah and Randy Comstock, Gallatin.

13-18 month boys: 1. Jacob Wilson, son of Jason and Abbey Wilson, Altamont; 2. Ayden MeMillan Wayne, son of Kevin and Angela Wayne, Gallatin.

13-18 month girls: 1. Payton Ellis, daughter of Kirk and Terry Ellis, Mercer; 2. Trinity Rhodes, daughter of Stan and Christy Rhodes, Maysville.

19-24 month boys: 1. Blayne Andrew Hacker, son of Shawnette Herring, Chillicothe.
