On Saturday, Sept. 21, the students at Covel D. Searcy Elementary will participate in a bike-a- thon for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Registration will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the high school commons. Riding time will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Your tax deductible gift will be used for research. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the only research center in the world dedicated solely to the conquest of catastrophic childhood diseases. Last spring $750 was raised. If a student asks, please give what you can. Doug Nichols will chair the event. If you have questions, please call the elementary school at 663-2173.
