Richard N. “Dick” and Marjorie Rose Harris Curtis of Gallatin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception given by their children. It will be held Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Daviess County Library Community Room from 2-5 p.m. They were married Sept. 21, 1952, at Gallatin, at the United Methodist Church by Rev. Caldwell. They have four children: one son, R.G. Curtis of Gallatin; and three daughters, Kay Allen and Linda Holcomb, both of Gallatin, and Rebecca Vessar of Taneyville.
