Brendan Conover, 17, Gallatin, received minor injuries in an accident at about 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 7, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol..
The accident occurred as Brendan was northbound on Rt. D and struck a deer. He lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and came to rest in a bean field.
Brendan was taken to Cameron Community Hospital via the DeKalb County Ambulance. He was wearing his seat belt.
The pickup was totaled and towed by Bridgemans of Altamont.
The accident was investigated by Trp. P. Kimball.
No summons was issued.
