Long

The Long reunion was held Aug. 31 at the shelter house in Dockery Park. McFall School

The McFall School reunion was held Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Albany Community Building. Eighty-two attended, including:

Smith

The reunion for the descendants of Walker G. and Margaret Knecht Smith was held Sunday, Sept. 8, at Dockery Park. Time and age dictates that only one second generation family member is still living, an aunt in Nebraska who was not able to attend.

Third generation members attending included C.W. Leach, Cameron; Bertha Lee Reynolds, Overland Park, Kan.; Ginger Ginder, Indianola, Iowa; Mary Smith, Margaret Townsend, Marjorie Frost, Helen Hardin, all of Gallatin, along with various spouses, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A group of 40 enjoyed dinner. The family was saddened to learn of the death of Ivan Smith of Colorado Springs this week. Ivan was the brother of Alvan Smith of Gallatin. Next year’s reunion will be Sept. 7 at Dockery Park.
