A reporting error occurred in a recent news article which, unfortunately, confuses the ownership of a local nursing home. Health Care Systems of Sikeston has operated the nursing home in Gallatin since 1999, and recently renamed the business to be called Lake Viking Health Care. The facility is leased from Daviess County which still retains ownership of the building. We apologize for the reporting error and regret any confusion it may have caused.
