In a ceremony that traditionally marks the beginning of a career as a physician, Mathew Strasser was presented with his white coat on Aug. 15 at the Music Hall in Kansas City. He will begin his first year of medical school at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City. Matthew is the son of Mark and Susie Strasser of Lake Viking. Also in attendance at the ceremony was his sister Sara Strasser of St. Louis and his grandmother Winifred Strasser of Winston.
