The Lowrey reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Bethany Memorial Park. Those attending were Janellda and Brianna Weber, Coffey; Scott, Angela and Jared Crowder, Columbia; Rosa, Alan, Renee and Elliott Kiefer, Liberty; Tim and Amanda (Lowrey) Bohling, Overland Park, Kan.; Aaron and Kate Lowrey, Springfield; Darryl and Merylan Lowrey and granddaughter Lauren Clark, Tarkio; Lyn Bayne, Delbert and Lavena Lowrey, Tommie Lowrey, Joe and Dolores Cameron, Dallas and Evalee Lowrey, all of Pattonsburg; Gordon and Marleen Gunderson, Omaha, Neb.; Crystal Hathaway, Clara Macrander, Mary Ann Shepard, J.L. and Ina McFee, all of Gallatin; Nora Mae Drummond, Glen and Margaret Mason, Stan and Jennie Lowrey, all of Bethany; Gerald Summa, Mt. Ayr, Iowa; Peggy (Mason) Berger, Princeton; Larry and Reva Burke, Kansas City; Don and Velma Talbott, Jerry Talbott, Winston; Anna Cooper, Hamilton; Jack and Nadine Lowrey, Apple Valley, Calif. A total of 46 enjoyed the day.
On Aug. 4 the descendants of W.S. Gould and Ella Gould Hudson, his sister, observed their annual reunion. It was held at the Kidder Institute building, now called the Far West facility.
The following persons attended the reunion: Herbert and Dorothy Gould, Ruth Gould Frazier, Hazel Gould Heldenbrand, Emery and Waneta Gould, and daughter Lorena McDonald, Esther Gould Gebhardt and son Larry Gebhardt, Jim Jones, grandson of Richard Hudson, Jay and Martha Gould Groves and daughter Sarah Groves-Speece.
Sarah Groves-Speece and Jim Jones provided a cake so that the group could also celebrate Jay Groves’ birthday.
