Marriage vows were exchanged by Lorrie Vaccaro and Jeff Cragg the afternoon of Oct. 6, 2001, at the First United Methodist Church in Lanark, Ill. Parents of the bride are Leo and Beth Vaccaro and Brian and Mary Frederickson, all of Freeport, Ill. Jeff is the son of Tom and Nita Cragg of Gallatin.
The Rev. Rod Dye performed the ceremony. Candles were lighted by nephews of the groom, Derek and Aaron Lowrey of Laredo. The Schweitz family string trio provided music.
Kari Suess, Rockford, Ill, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids, sisters of the bride, were Amie and Nicole Johnson of Freeport, Ill. Haylie Guzman, Kansas City, wearing white was the flower girl. The women wore cranberry two-piece sleeveless gowns of A-line design. Their bouquets were of pink roses, hydrangea and lilies.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a floor-length white sheath style gown with overlay of lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of roses, lilies, and hydrangea, with pink pepperberry accents.
Andy Guzman, friend of the groom from Kansas City, was best man. His son, Spencer Guzman, carried the rings. Serving their brother as groomsmen were Jay Cragg of Milan, and Chris Cragg of Irving, Texas. Ushers were the bride’s cousins, Lonny and Dan Nielsen of Pearl City, Ill., and Bryce Cragg, nephew of the groom Irving, Texas. All men of the wedding party wore black tuxedos.
Becky Rung and Olivia Hilliard, nieces of the groom from Bradenton, Fla., were in charge of the guest book. Programs were distributed by the groom’s nephews, Jason and Justin Cragg, of Milan.
Following the ceremony, guests were entertained at Plum Tree Ski Lodge at Lake Carroll Resort near Lanark, Ill. Gifts were attended by the groom’s nieces, Rachel Cragg, Irving, Texas, and Shelby Lowrey, Laredo. The wedding cake was served by sisters of the groom, Juli Hilliard of Bradenton, Fla., Melissa Lowrey, Laredo, and Sarah Cragg, Arlington, Texas.
A rehearsal dinner for family and friends was hosted by the groom’s parents at Cannova’s Restaurant in Freeport, Ill.
The bride graduated from Freeport High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. She is a broker associate for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Longmont, Colo.
The groom graduated from Gallatin High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from Webster University. He is a partner and pension consultant at Digital Retirement Solutions in Longmont, Colo.
The couple lives in Longmont, Colo.
