During the second session of Show-Me Baseball camp June 9-14, Jared Brandt of Kearney received the Most Outstanding Player award for the 11-12-year-old age group in recognition of his achievements on and off the filed. Jared competed with boys from seven states to win the award. Jared plays with the Kearney Riverdogs and this year the team placed eighth at the State Tournament in St Louis. Jared is the son of Joe and Marylou Brandt of Kearney and the grandson of Larry and Donna Hibbs of Pattonsburg.
