The Honorable Daviess County Commission met July 29 with all members present. Minutes were approved.
Daniel Lynn, bridge supervisor and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting routine repairs and construction.
The commission and clerk accompanied Betty Harmison, assessor, and Lance Critten, appraiser, to the Roger Billings property in Marion Township, taking a tour of the property for re-measuring and reassessment following the Board of Equalization meeting of July 8, 2002. No agreement was reached.
Bills were audited and paid.
Eugene Hughes, Salem Township, met with the commission reporting drainage and brush problems.
Danny Heldenbrand reported that the brush problem near Cope Cemetery in Jefferson Township was being addressed by landowners.
Crane Engineering, Hannibal, met with the commission regarding BRO project and soft match funds.
David Tolen reported having chaired the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission meeting in Trenton on July 25.
