Jerry Rouner, a 31-year employee of the Missouri Department of Transportation
Jerry Rouner, a 31-year employee of the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), retired from the department on July 1.
Mr. Rouner started working for the department in 1971 at the Coffey maintenance building. He worked in maintenance his entire career, and retired as the local maintenance supervisor at the Coffey building.
Mr. Rouner and his wife Diane live near Coffey. They have six children and six grandchildren. Mr. Rouner plans for retirement include farming, hunting and fishing. “We wish Jerry a very happy retirement. His years of experience in maintenance will be missed,” said Dave Ahlvers, district engineer.
