Three new books have been placed in the Daviess County Library by patrons. In memory of Rene Binney is The Audubon Backyard Bird Watcher. This is an informative and comprehensive guide to the fascinating world of birds in your yard. This was placed in the library by Gene and Ann Schweizer. Frank and Kay Woodruff have placed two books in the library in honor of their daughter, Amy, who recently graduated from the University of Alaska. Storm Run is a story of the first woman to win the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. The second book is A Child’s Alaska by Claire Murphy. Stop by the library soon and check out some of these new books.
