Julie Macy of Gallatin has been awarded the William A. Powell Scholarship at the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources for the 2002-2003 academic year. The William A. Powell Scholarship fund was established in 1981 to provide annual scholarships for students majoring in dairy science. Qualified students must be the son or daughter of an active member or employee of Dairy Farms of America, Inc. Membership or employment must be continuing for the scholarship to be paid.
